Bartelt Brings Double Filling Capacity with the MAG-R HFFS Machine to Interpack 2026

SARASOTA, FL, March 23, 2026 – Bartelt, a ProMach product brand and long-standing leader in pouching and cartoning systems, will exhibit the MAG-R horizontal form fill seal (HFFS) machine featuring duplex mode at Interpack 2026. This configuration expands the MAG-R platform’s filling capacity by enabling two pouches per index for increased production rates. The event takes place May 7-13, 2026, in Düsseldorf, Germany, where Bartelt will exhibit alongside other ProMach brands in Hall 13, Booth A75.

MAG-R
The MAG-R is a high-efficiency rotary horizontal form fill seal machine that combines a compact, space-saving footprint with advanced magnetic motion technology to deliver precise pouch packaging. Designed for space-constrained production environments, the MAG-R offers exceptional flexibility and operational efficiency across a wide range of industries.
The MAG-R is engineered to deliver optimal flexibility and efficiency in pouch packaging. Its modular design enables fast, easy changeovers, helping to reduce downtime and improve productivity. Multiple heat-sealing stations and optional seal-cooling assemblies produce high quality, non-leak pouches.
Dynamic product settling is achieved using an XTS track with magnetic linear motion technology, which gently shakes the pouch from side to side during filling. This motion improves product distribution inside the pouch while minimizing product contamination in the seal area. A lightweight magnetic bag clamp further enhances pouch-handling precision and speed of pouch handling for faster throughput and operational efficiency.
At Interpack 2026, attendees will see the MAG-R configured in duplex mode, allowing the machine to fill two pouches per index for increased production rates. The MAG-R is compatible with a wide range of pouch styles, including roll stock, gusset bottom, Delta Pac stand-up, and Doy stand-up pouches. This versatility makes it ideal for snacks, candy, powders, cheese, jerky, and many other products.
The MAG-R is part of Bartelt’s MAG Series, a versatile family of machines designed to meet the modern demands of HFFS applications, from convenience store formats to larger club store sizes. All MAG Series machines are compatible with eco-friendly films, helping manufacturers meet sustainability goals without sacrificing performance.
