Bartelt BCC-L Cartoner (formerly the CMC Cartoner)
The Bartelt BCC-L Cartoner is a fast, flexible, and reliable horizontal continuous motion cartoning machine designed for high-performance packaging lines. With full servo control and operating speeds of up to 400 cycles per minute, the BCC-L delivers precision and efficiency for a wide range of applications.
This cartoner handles a full range of food and consumer goods, including bags, pouches, trays, flow-wraps, or various loose or stacked products. A multi-head carton feeder and a servo-driven barrel cam inserter ensure smooth, high-speed operation with excellent control.
The BCC-L’s open-frame, clean design offers excellent product visibility and simplifies sanitation. It integrates seamlessly with upstream and downstream, including Bartelt horizontal form fill seal machines, to create a turnkey production line from a single source.
Available in 6”, 9”, and 12" index models, the BCC-L supports a wide range of carton sizes and shapes and switching between flap gluing and flap tucking is quick and easy, enhancing operational flexibility.
With 50% fewer components than traditional chain shaft systems, the BCC-L is built for low maintenance, high uptime, and reduced production costs. Its ergonomic, easy-to-use design promotes operator comfort and safety on the production floor.

- Folded, pre-glued carton blanks are manually loaded into the horizontal powered carton magazine
- Carton blanks are removed from the bottom of the magazine using a servo-driven, multi-head rotary carton feeder equipped with multiple vacuum cups mounted on spindles
- Cartons are opened and placed between transport lugs, then conveyed to the product loading station
- Photo-eye sensors detect for carton presence
- Carton placement is optimized by the servo-driven motion profile of the carton feeder, timed seamlessly with the servo-driven conveyor
