learn moreThe Bartelt RPM Series is a rotary horizontal form fill seal (HFFS) platform engineered for applications requiring heavier fill weights, larger pouch sizes, and robust pouch handling. Featuring a space‑saving rotary turret design and double pouch clamp handling, the RPM Series delivers exceptional versatility while maintaining a compact footprint and high production efficiency.
Designed to produce sachets, flat pouches, gusseted bags, and stand‑up pouches directly from rollstock, the RPM Series operates at speeds of up to 60 cycles per minute in simplex configuration, with optional duplex configurations reaching 110–120 pouches per minute. Its eight‑station servo‑driven rotary turret, combined with dual clamp pouch handling, provides secure control throughout pouch transfer, filling, and sealing, making it ideally suited for demanding applications that exceed the capabilities of single‑clamp systems.
Advanced web handling and servo‑driven film feed ensure accurate photo‑registration and consistent pouch forming from flat rollstock. Pouches are opened using a vacuum and air‑assist system, verified by no‑open‑pouch / no‑fill sensors to minimize product loss, and filled before being transferred to the top seal station using a rapid‑change sealing system with temperature‑controlled seal bars. Finished pouches are then discharged to the operator side for efficient downstream handling.
With a servo‑controlled motion platform, rapid changeover capabilities, and an intuitive Rockwell Motion Control system with a color touchscreen HMI, the RPM Series delivers reliable performance, operational flexibility, and ease of use. Its rotary architecture offers a highly efficient solution for manufacturers seeking high‑output pouching in a compact, rugged, and versatile HFFS machine.
